Geumgye Village → Uitan Village → Uijung Village → Songjeon (Sedong) Village → Unseo Village → Donggang Village
Jirisan Dulle-gil is a mountain trail for walking around the Jirisan National Park, not for walking in it. What it means is that while it’s a mountain trail, it takes you to rivers, reservoirs, and people living in the area. That’s the biggest attraction of Jirisan Dulle-gil.
The Geumgye-Donggang Section has all the advantages of Jirisan Dulle-gil. This section of Jirisan Dulle-gil spans 11 kilometers from Geumgye Village, Macheon-myeon to Donggang-ri, Hyucheon-myeon in Hamyang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. It takes you to six villages, temples, and Eomcheongang River at the foot of Jirisan Mountain. The quiet forest path to the temple connects with the Old Road and mountain path, which command a view of Deunggujae and Beophwasan Mountain. Walk this path, and you will experience becoming one with the mountains and rivers.
The main section includes Geumgye Village and Uijung Village, which is well known for lacquer painting, as well as Seoamjeongsa Temple at the foot of Chilseon Valley, Mojeon Village (Yongyudam), Sedong Village, and Unseo Village. Cross Gusirakjae after Unseo Village, and you’ll reach Donggang Village.
