Located at the end of Yongchu Valley, the Yongchu Natural Recreation Forest was developed in 1991 as a government project to create a resting area for hikers and visitors. The place includes a number of small and cozy mountain huts as well as a large parking lot, water park, and observatory. Since it’s operated by the local government, visitors can enjoy the great facilities at very low prices.

Yongchu Valley is probably one of the best places to go for those who love to hike for hours in the clean environment of a valley and lush trees. In addition, the Yongchu Falls located in the upper stream of the valley is yet another sight to behold. The streams of water falling from the cliff create quite a spectacle. Some say that with the mist of water drops look like an angry dragon lashing about. Dragon or not, many visitors to this place love the refreshing sensation they get when standing in front of the falling water.
