This is a natural recreation forest located in Inwol-myeon, Namwon, and was initiated in 1997, opening in 2002. The facility is about 1㎢ and there are total of 17 buildings including: group training facilities (two buildings), houses in the forest (seven buildings), bungalows (three buildings), a kitchen, shower facilities, a drinking water fountain, a rural playground, and an educational hall.

The trail to the top of Deokdusan Mountain (1,150m) is open and the hike from the recreational forest to the summit of Deokdusan Mountain takes about one hour and a half. On the skirt of the mountain, there is a grove of pine nut trees that are about 55 years old, an ideal place to rest and enjoy the view. If you walk along the mountain ridge at the top of Deokdusan Mountain for about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Baraebong Peak (1,167m), which is famous for royal azaleas.

Deokdusan is the westernmost peak of the Jirisan Mountain Range, which continues to Manbokdae Terrace in the east, and it is located at the border of Hwasu-ri, Unbong-eup and Junggun-ri, Inwol-myeon. With an altitude of 1,150m, it is off the main Baekdudaegan Mountain Range and is on the northeastern mountain range from Goribong Peak at the very northwestern tip of the range. The range crosses Unbong-eup, Inwol-myeon, and Sannae-myeon and forms a watershed with Baemsagol and Mansucheon in the east and Unbongcheon and Ramcheon in the west; at Sannae-myeon, all streams come together and meet the Nakdonggang River.

Deokdubong is the place where the morning sun first reaches Jirisan Mountain. Once at the summit, you will have a sweeping view from east to west from Cheonwangbong Peak to Jeseokbong, Chotdaebong, Yeongsinbong, Myeongsunbong, Tokkibong, Banyabong, Nogodan, and Manbokdae Peaks, as well as the mountain range that includes summits above 1,500m in altitude.
